Something I am thinking about constantly while building the network and community at Future+ is a recent trend that seems to be infiltrating across content culture these days. As pointed out brilliantly in a recent post by Aleksija Vujicic, aptly titled the “substackification” of everything, is this because we are now at the peak of “social media” and there’s nothing “social” about consuming the content and media we do on a daily basis? There seems to be so many new, micro communities and niche membership platforms launching and so many existing media platforms adding in more curated, invited only membership models. Anyone else notice the same?

This week’s edition is short and sweet, as I am still recovering from a cold and rainy Venice Biennale. I share top 5 highlights from the art works that marked a seminal moment at the intersection of new digital realities (Web3, Generative AI and Blockchain) shown in a traditional, cultural context with quick links to each article for longer reads.
